Nagashi-Nagashi.net is designed to be a collaborative environment of artistic and cultural projects. It is initiated by the artist, Hui Wai Keung, during he is residency at ARCUS Project, Moriya, Ibaraki, Japan. He is proposing to launch a Tōrō nagashi (灯籠流し) in the outer space, as well as in the World Wde Web. 流し (nagashi) is a Japanese term. Its meaning is similar to “flowing” in English and “流” in Chinese. It is hoped that idea can be flowed freely here.
